Cómo declarar criptomonedas en Finlandia
Finland taxes crypto gains as capital income at 30% (34% above 30,000 €) and applies a very useful practical threshold: if your total sales for the year do not exceed 1,000 €, the gain is exempt.

The 1,000 euro threshold
The limit is calculated based on the total sales amount for the year, not on the profit. If you sold for a total of 900 €, you don't pay tax even if the entire amount is profit; if you sell for 1,100 €, the full profit is taxed.
The threshold includes all sales of investment assets, not just cryptocurrencies, so stocks, funds, and crypto must be aggregated in the same calculation.
FIFO method and presumed deduction
Vero applies FIFO when you cannot identify specific units. Alternatively, you can use the presumed acquisition cost deduction (hankintameno-olettama): 20% of the sale price, or 40% if you held the asset for more than ten years.
Losses are offset against any capital income during the following five fiscal years.
Before filing: have your history in order
The first step to a proper tax declaration is to download the complete transaction history from each platform you use. MiCA-licensed exchanges often provide ready-to-use annual reports, which significantly simplifies the filing process.
