Preciobitcoin was founded and is owned by Mikael Olsson and his son Sebastian Olsson. The site was born with a clear idea: to create an independent, easy-to-understand source for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency information, accessible to readers worldwide and available in 21 languages.

Preciobitcoin is an independent information and comparison site. We are not an exchange, a bank, or a financial advisor; we collect, compare, and explain so you can make your own decisions.

The news we publish comes from external media specialized in cryptocurrencies. Each article always links to the original source. These are the sources we currently work with:

• Kaupr

  Norway's leading crypto news outlet. Kaupr is run by editor-in-chief Morten Myrstad, with a focus on journalism and coverage of the Nordic crypto scene.

• Bitcoin News

  Independent news outlet focused on Bitcoin, covering markets, regulation and blockchain technology. We use their English edition as a daily news source.

• BeInCrypto

  International news and analysis outlet for cryptocurrencies, founded in 2018. We use their Spanish edition, focusing on markets, Web3, and global adoption.

• Kryptovalutaguiden

  The leading crypto news media in Sweden and Scandinavia. Producing the most news articles in the Nordics since 2019, owned by the same team behind Preciobitcoin.

Our reviews of exchanges, wallets, cards, ETPs, and casinos are written by artificial intelligence following the guidelines and editorial brief from Mikael and Sebastian. Each review is checked by a team member before publication.

Our reviews are completely independent: no company can pay to appear, improve its rating, or secure a position in our rankings. Positions are based solely on objective criteria such as fees, security, regulation (e.g., MiCA license), and user experience.
